Cash in your policy
Thank you for choosing to use our website to cash in your policy. In order to make sure that you get the correct information, we need to know what type of policy you wish to cash in.
If you have an Industrial Branch (IB) policy, you will need to use the information in the IB section.
If you have an Ordinary Branch (OB) or Individual Savings Account (ISA) policy, you will need to use the information in the OB/ISA section.
If you are unsure which type of policy you have, the table below explains the main differences between the two types of policy. You can find your policy number on your policy schedule or on correspondence from us.

Premium payments can be made either by Bank Standing Order, Cheque or Postal Order.

| Policy numbers begin with a number 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 and are 8 or 9 digits long. If the policy number is 9 digits long, it will begin with 0 or 1 | Policy numbers begin with the numbers 02, 03, 04, 05, 07, 20, 21, 50, or 80 and are always 8 digits long | Policy numbers begin with either 60, 12 or 2 and are always 8 digits long |
