The group has 7.65 million policies in force (as at 30 June 2009), and assets of around £66 billion. Its asset management company Ignis has around £71 billion funds under management (as at 30 November 2009).

We also provide access to a range of financial products including car, home and travel insurance; and commercial insurance for your business.

* A fund is defined as ‘closed’ if no new policies are being sold, ie. it is closed to new business. In the UK, there are approximately 70 closed life funds with a value of more than £290 billion, amounting to one fifth of the long-term insurance sector.
